Collado Way Wines

Collado Way grew out of an unexpected fixation with the Huon Valley, in the deep south of Tasmania. Daniel Way first moved here in 2015 before being joined by his partner Catalina Collado in 2018.

What was originally planned as a short stop in a whirlwind of travel, soon grew roots and grounded us in one of Australia’s most exciting and challenging growing regions. With a combined winemaking experience across five continents and 10 countries, we settled on Tasmania as the place that scratches the itch to make high quality, artisanal wines.

Grapes are sourced from across several subregions spanning the length of the island, with vineyard quality and care as the deciding factors in the selection process. Each wine aims to express the terroir of the region in which it is grown, with the grapes expertly grown by some of Tasmania’s most respected growers, and our gentle hands guiding the vinification in the background.
